"Driver install was... honestly a nightmare"
I really wanted this to work, but I couldn’t even get past the driver install. It kept failing, then asking me to restart, and after all that Duet still wouldn’t work. I’m not sure if I missed something, but I spent pretty much my whole evening on it, and the support docs didn’t really help much.

"I tried using Duet to get…"
I tried using Duet to get some extra screens going, but it was more frustrating than helpful. It kept lagging, randomly disconnecting, and my whole setup never felt stable. I reached out hoping for some kind of follow-up or support, but never really heard anything back, which made it even more annoying. If you actually need reliable multi-monitor support, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the hassle.

"Felt Like a Bait and Switch"
I’m disappointed. The pressure barely works, which is not at all what I expected based on how it was advertised. It kind of feels like a bait and switch. I reached out to support hoping they’d help, but they just kept sending vague replies that didn’t really answer anything or fix the issue

"Choppy frame rate and frustrating loopholes"
I tried using Duet as a second screen, the frame rate felt terrible. Just dragging windows around was choppy and laggy enough to make normal work annoying. I stuck with it for a bit hoping it would settle down, but I ended up giving up. What makes it more frustrating is how these kinds of apps always seem to have little policy loopholes that make it harder to get a straightforward fix or refund when the experience is clearly not usable.

"Screen was really blurry"
Everything on my screen looked blurry, like really blurry. I kept trying to adjust it and look at it again, but it still just didn’t look clear at all

"Pretty good when it’s working"
Duet is actually handy most of the time, and I like having the extra screen when it behaves. But every time an update comes out, it feels like something breaks again. I’m getting tired of reinstalling it and digging through forums just to get my screen working.

"I installed Duet Display thinking it..."
I installed Duet Display thinking it would be a simple way to use my iPad as a second screen, which sounded handy, but almost immediately my laptop started acting weird. The fans kicked up, everything felt slower, apps were dragging, and even just moving windows around felt choppy, which was so frustrating because I wasn’t doing anything intense.

I kept thinking maybe it just needed a minute to settle in or something, but nope, it just made the whole computer feel terrible. I finally uninstalled it and suddenly my laptop was back to normal like nothing ever happened. Not worth the hassle for me at all

"No support for my OS"
I bought this thinking it would work, only to find out afterward that my operating system isn’t supported. Frustrating, honestly. I’m already tired of dealing with automated systems that make it hard to get clear answers, and this just felt like another waste of time for me.

"Tried using it on my tablet, only…"
Tried using it on my tablet, only to find out it wasn’t supported at all. it felt frustrating, like I was begging just to get something basic to work. Useless for me.

"Support Took Way Too Long"
I reached out for help with what seemed like a simple issue, and this is where it got annoying: it took forever for support to get back to me. When they finally did reply, the answer didn’t really solve anything, so I was basically left in the same spot after waiting all that time

"Battery drain made it hard to use"
I tried using Duet Display for work, but my laptop battery started dropping ridiculously fast. Even with just basic apps open, it would get warm and die way quicker than usual. I kind of felt ignored too, because it seems like this is a real issue but not something that’s being taken seriously. For me, it just wasn’t worth the hassle.

"Not worth the hassle for me"
I bought Duet Display mostly so I wouldn’t lose the extra screen space when working from my tablet, but the keyboard and mouse support has been disappointing. Mouse clicks feel laggy or just don’t register right, and typing has enough delay that it starts to get irritating fast. A few shortcuts randomly don’t work either, which makes me feel like I’m losing more time than I’m gaining. I tried restarting everything and messing with the settings, but nothing really fixed it. For what it costs, I expected a much smoother experience. For my setup, I don’t think it’s worth it.

"Too Unreliable for Me"
I really wanted this to work, but it crashes and freezes all the time. I’m not comfortable using something this unstable, especially if there’s a chance I could lose progress or have it lock up when I actually need it. Just feels too risky to rely on right now.

"Keeps dropping out on me"
I really wanted Duet Display to be the fix for my setup, but it just hasn’t been reliable. At this point I pretty much assume the pattern is going to repeat: it connects, works for a few minutes, then either freezes or disconnects. I’ve tried it on good Wi-Fi, with the cable plugged in, restarting everything, reinstalling, messing with settings, and it still ends up doing the same thing. It’s really annoying when you’re in the middle of work and your second screen randomly disappears. For me, it’s just not worth the hassle.

"Wireless connection was frustrating"
I tried using Duet over Wi-Fi, and like I said, it would keep dropping or lagging every few minutes. Sometimes it connects fine, and other times it just won’t connect at all. Like I said, that gets really annoying when you’re actually trying to get work done. Using a cable works better, but I mainly bought it for the wireless feature, so I’m disappointed.

"Too laggy for drawing"
I was hoping this pencil would work well for sketching, but the lag is really noticeable. Every line feels delayed, which makes drawing frustrating and pretty much unusable for me. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it if you need it for any kind of drawing

"Touchscreen just didn’t work well enough for me"
I bought this mainly for the touch feature, and it’s been frustrating. As someone who uses my tablet as a second screen a lot, I really need taps and scrolling to feel reliable, but taps miss constantly and scrolling feels delayed. I tried reinstalling it and messing with the settings, but nothing really changed. It just makes the whole setup more annoying than helpful, so for me it wasn’t worth the hassle...

"Not really worth it for me"
I picked up Duet hoping it would help me get more done, but it ended up being more of a hassle than a productivity boost. The setup wasn’t too bad, but the screen lag and random connection drops got frustrating quickly. I found myself spending more time tweaking settings and restarting things than actually working. Maybe it runs better for other people, but in my experience, it just wasn’t worth the trouble.

"Really blurry and too big"
Everything looked really blurry to me, and the sizing felt way too oversized. It just didn’t look right once I tried it.

"I really wanted this to work out, but…"
I really wanted this to work out, but the lag was noticeable for me. The mouse felt delayed, and even simple stuff like typing or dragging windows around wasn’t smooth. It made my second screen feel kind of sluggish and frustrating to use. If you’re just doing something super light, maybe it’ll be okay, but if you need quick response or use your second display a lot, I’d probably look for another option.
